After the Whirlwind of Work (Basement and Exterior/Garage)

6 Aug

So here is the last group of pictures…

This was one of my favorite areas to work on because we took it all right back to the shell and reimagined the entire space.  With every project, our focus really is, “How would we use this space?”  Having kids and family constantly visiting, we wanted to add valuable square footage to this home.   The basement includes a large laundry room, utility/storage area, a spare bedroom and family room with a big, bright bathroom, as well – great for visitiors, but also for a child to grow into or use as an in-law suite.

So what is your plan now? Do you rent, sell or move in?!

We select homes in areas that are highly rentable, but our goal is to always sell them. I’m not interested in being a landlord just yet… In the future, definitely.
We had multiple offers and the new owners will take possession a few weeks from now, so its almost time to start looking again. ;)

If you are up for sharing, I’d be interested in the financials of your investment!

You guys did an AMAZING job. In what seems like no time at all.
The house looks phenomenal. Clean colors, and so bright. Modern, but classic. I imagine it sold immediately.

Nice to be done, eh? The best stage of any project, is where you look back at the pictures and say—whoa! Did it really look that bad??

Congrats! Maybe a vacation is in order before you buy another one??
